Hello Wonderful Community!

With the opening of so many businesses in and around Fresno, we imagine there are many questions arising as to New Thought Community’s response.  We will not be re-opening, as we have never closed.  Our Community exists not in our building, but in our awareness, in our Oneness!  We will continue our virtual services as we have been until that time we can all physically gather again safely.

Thank you for participating in our virtual Sunday Celebrations, taking advantage of our prayer treatment request forms, meeting with us in our Sunday morning Zoom Hangout, and finishing out classes via zoom – these have all been exciting and challenging changes that have required us all to make shifts in our way of being.  We have risen to the challenge and envisioned and brought to fruition so many things we didn’t know we could do!  We have experienced more interpersonal connection in new and inventive ways.  If you have any new ideas for connecting, praying, and playing together, please let them be known!

You can request Prayer Treatment at any time by calling a Minister or Practitioner and by filling out our online prayer request form.

Thank you, also, for finding new ways to make your monetary contributions to New Thought.  Like each of us, NTC is in a transformational stage now, and we have an opportunity to guide it into its next incarnation.

LOOKING AHEAD
NTC has received the guidelines from the State of California, and we are evaluating how we can use them to move toward gathering again in the sanctuary safely.  For the time being, we will not be gathering on Sundays, but will continue to explore our Oneness in new ways.  For instance, we are setting up internet connectivity so that we can provide live feed from the sanctuary.  Once the ministers and board have determined it's safe for everyone to gather there, we will then be able to reach folks who may have found us from outside the area, and can still reach those who prefer to join us from their pjs at home!

At New Thought Community, we are committed to creating a safe and sacred place for people from all walks of life. In this community we discover our path, purpose, and spiritual nature so that we may live cooperatively, grow personally, and enrich the world as a spiritual community. COVID19 has presented us with an unprecedented opportunity to love one another through this unknowable time.  We each are responding to the known and unknown, each in our own way, and we commit to treating one another with loving kindness, regardless of our beliefs.  Everyone will be treated with respect and care, and we will set parameters for safety based on the needs of the most vulnerable among us.  Thank you for joining us on this most beautiful spiritual path.
